Lakeside announces 2018 concerts!

The Lakeside Concert Committee is pleased to announce its 2018 series of musical, magical concerts!


Friday, January 19 -- Mark & Clark!

Performing on identical twin baby grand pianos, twin brothers Mark and Clark deliver an astounding variety of favorites from Elton John, Billy Joel to Ferrante and Teicher, and so much more. Prepare for an experince that will engage you fromt he instat the show begins - and delight your heart, soul and funny bone. "The Original Twin Paino Twins"

Friday, February 9 -- New Odyssey
New Odyssey is a band from Chicago playing all new odyssey band 900_646types of music from across the decades including today’s top hits. These songs are performed on 30 different musical instruments including a pocket trumpet, accordion, sousaphone, banjo, and bass trumpet. The key to making every performance a memorable experience is a combination of fun, audience interaction, offbeat light humor, attention–to-detail arrangements and an all-age appeal. “Pleasing every audience” is the mantra of New Odyssey!

Friday, March 16 -- The Goldtones
Goldtones 2The Goldtones - Johnny, Gary, James and Ed, are Florida's hottest oldies group, presenting the ultimate Doo-Wop show with nostalgic street corner harmony, just the way you rememer it. They will be singing all your favorite songs from the 50's and 60's and many more. With their emphasis on audience participation, you won't be able to stop tapping your feet to the music of The Goldtones! All of Southwest Florida loves the Goldtones!

All concerts begin at 7 p.m. at Lakeside Lutheran Church, 2401 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice. For tickets, call the church office at 941-493-5102 or 941-429-5144 in the North Port area. Tickets are $15 each (cash or check, no refunds.)
